Minority Excellence: A New Writer's Workshop

WE HAVE US Corporation is a social / urban development and empowerment organization with the primary objective of liberating oppressed people through education and resources. We believe that in order to heal communities, we must do so from within the community.

Living life as a black or brown person has its challenges. When these challenges are overcome, they manifest into stories of perseverance, stories that inspire, stories that give others hope and belief that we all can be more than a product of our environment but products of our choices.

In alignment with our above goals, WE HAVE US will host a "New Writers Workshop." This workshop will provide minority writers who are up-and-coming, resources to aid in distributing their creative write to the world. We realize that a large majority of writers from black and brown communities, simply do not have the resources or the knowledge necessary to begin the journey of becoming a published writer.

To help us help you, WE HAVE US has partnered up with a G. Andre Sealy, an award-winning author for Children’s books. In addition to these accomplishments, Mr. Sealy is a Health and STREAM Educator and is the founder of a publishing company.

G. Andre is an example of Minority Excellence and will lead this workshop. He will talk about the books he is currently promoting and will speak to attendees about his journey through in authoring children’s book, and STREAM curriculum. After his presentation, he will be answering those important questions every new writer has asked.

It doesn’t stop there; each attendee will have the opportunity to contract Mr. Sealey’s consultancy services to bring you just another step closer to accomplishing your goal as a published author.
