Does your child dream of one day becoming a chef? How about one day running his/her own kitchen?
In celebration of Black History and black culinary arts, WHU has collaborated with Monticello ATL, to bring the Young Chefs Club to Atlanta’s youths. The Young Chefs Club was created to inspire underserved youths who have a passion for culinary arts but have limited resources to purse those dreams.
The Young Chefs Club is free and will give your youths insight on the food prep process, how to organize a busy kitchen, and how to plate a meal once it has been prepared.
What’s on the Menu? African Cuisine! Because, what would black history be without it?!
What’s best of all— The meals your youths prepare will be donated to our brother’s & sister’s living on Atlanta‘s streets.
